Funding Genetic Research
Every child should have access to the health care they deserve, a world-class team of physicians and researchers behind them and a safe place to grow up. As a non-profit medical center, Lurie Children’s relies on the support of donors to provide the promise of a healthier future for every child.
Loving Luca Foundation has a mission to help fund research for the Genetics Department at Lurie Children's. Our namesake, Luca, has a rare genetic disorder called Partial Trisomy 13. Lurie Children's team of doctors has provided him with amazing care since his diagnosis. All donations made to Lurie Children's on behalf of Loving Luca Foundation are sent directly to the Genetics team to be used for research and fellowships.
